Event overview
Chicopee Woods WildRUN is a trail running event held at Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve in Gainesville, GA (2125 Elachee Drive, 30504). The event is presented in partnership with the Elachee Nature Science Center and includes multiple distances and a kids fun run. Registration opens January 1, 2026.

Course and venue
The courses run on the Chicopee Woods trail system within the 1,440-acre preserve. The route passes through rhododendron groves, crosses creeks, includes a 140 ft suspension bridge, and follows rolling, pine-needle covered trails. Course maps are listed as subject to change.
Logistics and amenities
A parking pass is required to enter Chicopee Woods. Race registration offers an option to purchase an Elachee membership that includes an annual parking pass and, for new members, guaranteed priority parking near the start/finish; non-members may use overflow parking or shuttle service. The event offers race tees and a BOCO Endurance hat designed for the WildRUN. Team Summit will host two group trail runs before the race to preview the course.
