Chick-fil-A 5K - Danada Forest Preserve, Wheaton, IL
The Chick-fil-A 5K is a community run held at Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton on September 26, 2026. The course runs through the preserve and passes scenic prairies, woodlands, and wetlands within the preserve's more than 700 acres. The race site is located next to the DuPage County Forest Preserve Headquarters at 3S580 Naperville Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189.
All participants receive a commemorative race shirt, a finisher medal, and a post-race Chick-fil-A breakfast biscuit and beverage. Packet pickup is available on a pre-race day at Dick Pond Athletics in Carol Stream and on race day at the preserve; registration and packet pickup are handled at those locations.
The event partners with the Men of the Mix and the Men Wear Pink campaign. Proceeds benefit Men Wear Pink and the American Cancer Society to support efforts against breast cancer. Competitive awards include overall male and female placements, age-group awards in multiple divisions, and a special award for the fastest youth runner under 18.
