Chicago Sunrise Wish Run
A free community run and walk at Montrose Harbour, 601 West Montrose Avenue, Chicago, IL 60613, on August 16, 2026.
The event serves as the kickoff for a 50K x 50 states x 50 days challenge benefiting Make-A-Wish and is part of the Zero to 100 Wishes journey. The larger effort aims to run 50K in each of the 50 states over 50 consecutive days to raise $1 million for Make-A-Wish.
The gathering is informal and open to the community. Participants may run any distance, walk, bring family and flags, or cheer at Montrose Harbour or along the route. The event is free to attend; donations benefiting Make-A-Wish are appreciated but not required.
