Chicago Fall Classic Half Marathon & 10K
The Chicago Fall Classic Run Fest includes a half marathon and a 10K held on Chicago's lakefront, with the Hot Cider Hustle 5K taking place on the same day. The half marathon course is USATF certified (IL20022NM) and the route is entirely on paved trail.
Finish line goods are provided to participants and include a finisher medal for all, caramel apples, hot apple cider, and beer for those 21 and older. The event is chip timed and offers paced groups for a range of finish goals. Water stations are located on course; half marathon stations include water and a sports drink. A gear check is available on site and participants must use a clear bag provided.
Participant options for packet pickup include having the packet mailed for a fee, pickup at a pre-event location, or pickup at the event site on race morning. Event gear choices include a classic t shirt or an upgrade to a premium quarter zip pullover. Awards include mailed winner medals for top overall and age group finishers in chip timed categories.
