Chicago Fall Classic Half Marathon and 10K
The Chicago Fall Classic is a road running event in Chicago on October 17, 2026, held at Montrose Harbor, 601 West Montrose Avenue. The event offers three distance options:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The half marathon course is USATF certified and the entire course is on paved trail along Chicago's lakefront. The event is chip-timed and provides pacers for the half marathon across a range of target finish times. Course maps and an elevation map are available for each distance. Course time limits are published for the 5K, 10K and half marathon.
Participant gear options include a choice of a classic t-shirt or an upgraded 1/4-zip pullover. Packet mailing is available for a fee and packet pick-up details are provided before race day. A gear check is available on site with a required clear bag.
Finish line provisions include finisher medals for the half marathon and 10K, an add-on medal option for the 5K, caramel apples, hot apple cider, and one complimentary beer for participants age 21 and over. Awards include mailed winner medals for top overall and age group finishers.
