Chicago Fall Classic Half Marathon & 10K
The Chicago Fall Classic is a road race held in Chicago on October 17, 2026, with the start/finish at Montrose Harbor. The event offers multiple distances on a course that is entirely on paved trail and includes a USATF-certified half marathon route. Course maps, elevation information and live participant tracking via the RaceJoy app are provided for participants.

Participants receive event gear with a choice of a classic t-shirt or an upgrade to a premium 1/4-zip pullover. Finisher medals are awarded to every participant in the half marathon and 10K; a 5K finisher medal is available as an add-on. Finish-line goods include caramel apples, hot apple cider, and a complimentary beer for those 21 and over. Water stations are supplied on course and half marathon stations include both water and sports drink. A gear check with clear-bag policy is available on site.
Packet mailing is offered for a fee of $19 while available; on-site packet pickup details are published before the event. The race provides half marathon pacers across a range of target finish times.
