Cheyenne Schools Foundation - Run for 1
The Cheyenne Schools Foundation presents the 31st annual Run for #1 on September 18, 2027, at Central High School in Cheyenne, WY 82009. The event is organized by the Cheyenne Schools Foundation and includes categories for adults and students.
The event is dog friendly and accessible to participants using mobility devices. Participation is open to the local community.
Part of each registration fee is directed to the school selected at registration: the selected school receives $1 for each student registration and $3 for each adult registration. Additional awards are available by school level: at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels, the school that raises the most money and the school with the highest student participation rate will each receive $500 for their general fund. Remaining funds from the event support teacher grants in Laramie County School District #1.
Information about location, date, participant categories, accessibility, and fundraising allocations is provided for prospective attendees and participating schools. The event description notes community and school support as core components of the Run for #1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
