Event overview
The Chester County 5k Winter Series is a five-week road racing series that runs from December 14, 2025 to March 8, 2026 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Races are held on Sundays: December 14, January 11, January 25, February 8, and March 8. The series is based at Downingtown West High School, 445 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
Race details
The series includes the following event distances:
- 5 km (multiple race dates)
- 10 km (February 8)
- 400 m (Kids dash)
The course runs around the grounds of the Downingtown West and Middle School campuses. Timing uses a disposable MyLaps bibtag system and results are posted live. Awards are given for the top 10 age-graded results. Series prizes include a free pair of shoes from Bryn Mawr Running Company (West Chester) for the top male and top female series winners who complete at least three races. Race day registration and bib pick up are available at Downingtown West in the gym lobby.
Organizers state events will be changed or canceled only in the case of severe weather. The series offers multi-event pricing with discounts for signing up for multiple races and a $20 savings option for registering for all five races. No refunds are offered.
