Cheshire Triathlon
The Cheshire Triathlon takes place at Barony Park and Nantwich Leisure Centre in Nantwich, Cheshire on Sunday 9th May 2027. The event begins with a pool swim, continues with a one-lap cycle through the South Cheshire countryside and finishes with laps around Barony Park.
The swim is held in an outdoor heated brine pool. The cycle is a single 21 km lap on an undulated country course. The run uses 1.25 km laps on grass in Barony Park. Transitions are split between Nantwich Leisure Centre and Barony Park. The event uses electronic chip timing and awards an official finisher medal to entrants. Wearing a cycle helmet is compulsory and competitors must count their own swim lengths and bike and run laps.
The event is described as suitable for a wide range of abilities and offers a spectator-friendly layout. On-site facilities at the park include hot and cold food, refreshments, toilets and a children’s play area. Relay entries and a non-competitive CRUK wave are available; the CRUK wave has the same bike and run distances as the Super Sprint and Fun options. Minimum age for the listed race categories is 16 years on race day.
