Event description
Cheryl's Run for Aplastic Anemia is a charity run and walk held at Laurier Park in Edmonton. The event is the 10th annual edition and directs all funds to the Awasisak Indigenous Health Program at the Stollery Children's Hospital. A virtual participation option is available for a set period following the on site date.
Available distances include options for adults and children. Children may run an approximate 2 K route or take the 5 K route. The event offers participant swag and fundraising prizes, with the top fundraiser awarded a trip to Yellowknife.
On site services include food provided by The Purple Perogy, cookies by Cookies by George, a non alcoholic offering from SYC Brewery at the finish area, and free massages by Pursuit of Motion Physiotherapy. Virtual participants residing outside the province may have their swag mailed.
Registration fees vary by category and by registration date; processing fees are added and all fees are subject to applicable taxes. Race kit pickup is available in advance at the Running Room Rabbit Hill location and on the day of the event at the park.
