Cheltenham Tri in the Park : Pittville Park, Cheltenham (11 July 2026)
Cheltenham Tri in the Park is an off-road super-sprint triathlon organised by Cheltenham Triathlon Club and set within Pittville Park. The event includes both junior and adult races and follows a format of an indoor pool swim followed by off-road cycle and run laps around the park.
Chip timing and published results are provided. All finishers receive a medal and a small goody bag. On-site facilities include car parking, changing, lockers, showers and hot and cold refreshments. Sports massage support is available on site. The event donates at least £2 from each entry fee to charity; past donations have supported local organisations.
Entry requires a valid British Triathlon RACE PASS; a single event pass or an annual membership is acceptable. The adult race is limited in entry numbers. The junior race uses age-group categories based on age at 31 December 2026 and has a minimum age of 8 years. Child entrants must be able to swim their category distance confidently and manage transition tasks independently; marshals and briefings support competitors on race day.

- Adult and Youth: swim 400m in 33m pool, bike 10km (5 laps), run approx 2.5km
- Tristar Start 8 yrs: swim 33m, bike 800m, run 500m
- Tristar 1 9/10 yrs: swim 132m, bike 2km, run 1000m
- Tristar 2 11/12 yrs: swim 200m, bike 4km, run 1500m
- Tristar 3 13/14 yrs: swim 300m, bike 6km, run 2000m
