Cheltenham Lido Aquathlon 2027

The competition begins with swims in the heated 50 m outdoor main pool, followed by transitions to a run course that uses pavement, grass and parts of Sandford Park. The transition area between swim and run is about 50 m and is located more than 20 m from the swim stage. The event includes multiple distances and age categories; minimum ages apply for some distances.
Distances offered:
- Long Distance: 2000 m swim and 10 km run
- Standard Distance: 1000 m swim and 5 km run
- Sprint Distance: 500 m swim and 2.5 km run
Run surfaces are a mixture and the course may include undulating sections. The event is intended to raise funds for Cheltenham Lido and the organiser anticipates around 180 competitors. On-site facilities listed include accessible changing, parking and showers, toilets, catering, chip timing, finishers medals, t-shirts and published results. The event permit is in progress and the required documentation is being reviewed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
