CHAT in the Park 2026
CHAT in the Park 2026 is a fundraiser organized by the Communication Health and Therapy (C.H.A.T) Society. The event takes place on June 20, 2026 at Central Park, King Street, Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada. The theme is Christmas in June, combining holiday elements with outdoor summer activities.
The distances offered are:
- 1K Candy Cane Cruise: short fun dash
- 5K Reindeer Rush: single loop through park trails
- 10K Double Delivery: two laps of the 5K loop
The 5K follows a single loop through the park. The 10K is the 5K loop run twice. The 1K is a short, family-friendly distance. Proceeds support adults with acquired communication challenges.
Post-run activities include field games, a silent auction with various items, and food and refreshments available for purchase. Each participant receives a swag bag with event items and mementos.
Registration fees shown include mandatory charges and fees. The ticketing information lists approximately CA$28.93 for adult categories, CA$18.19 for youth categories, and free for children. Race package pickup is scheduled the day before the event, Friday June 19, at the Running Room location at 8537 109 St NW, Edmonton AB T6G 1E4, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
