CHAT in the Park 2026
CHAT in the Park takes place on June 20, 2026 at Central Park, King Street, Spruce Grove, Alberta. The event is a fundraiser for the Communication Health and Therapy (C.H.A.T) Society, which supports adults with acquired communication challenges.
The theme is Christmas in June, combining holiday elements with a summer setting. The course uses park trails and is offered in multiple distances; the 5K is a single loop and the 10K is two laps of that loop.
Distances offered:
- 1K Candy Cane Cruise short, light-distance option
- 5K Reindeer Rush single loop through park trails
- 10K Double Delivery two laps of the 5K loop
The event program includes post-run refreshments, field games and a silent auction. Each participant receives a swag bag with items and mementos. Race packages can be picked up the day before at the Running Room location at 8537 109 St NW, Edmonton AB T6G 1E4. Pricing varies by age category; children aged five and under are listed as free.
