Chasing Zero 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Chasing Zero 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This event supports Project Zero, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about adoption and supporting children and teenagers in the foster care system. The initiative focuses on finding permanent families for children waiting to be adopted within the state.
Participants can choose from the following event categories:
- Chasing Zero 5K
- Chasing Zero 1 Mile Fun Run
- Chasing Zero Virtual Run
The in-person events are held at 5001 Northshore Drive. Participants in the 5K and the 1 mile fun run receive medals. A specific registration deadline of October 15th is required to guarantee a race t-shirt and medal. The t-shirts provided are Sport-Tek PosiCharge Re-Compete Tees in "True Red," available in both adult and youth sizes.
For those unable to attend in person or located outside of Central Arkansas, a virtual race option is available. This allows individuals to complete a 5K at a time and location of their choice. The virtual option does not include a shirt, medal, or a platform for timing submissions.
Early packet pick-up is hosted at Rock City Running on the Friday before the event. On the day of the race, packet pick-up is also available at Crystal Hill Elementary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
