Chase Your Dreams 5K Run, 2K Walk, and Kids Run
Chase Your Dreams takes place on August 22, 2026 at Windmill Park, 920 Ogden Avenue, Fairmont, WV. The event is hosted by RESET Inc. and benefits the Rising Stars After School Program.
There are three event options:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 2K (1.2 miles)
- Kids Run (0.5 miles)
The 5K is a timed run. The 2K walk and the kids 0.5-mile run are not timed. Registration fees listed for the event are $30.00 for the 5K, $30.00 for the 2K walk, and no fee for the kids run. A kids half-mile race is offered at no charge and registered children will be included in a school supplies giveaway.
Awards are planned for top finishers in the 5K. A commemorative event t-shirt is listed for participants who register by July 22. A $5.00 discount is available for participants in the 2026 Marion County Race Series. The event program includes music and other community activities.
