CBTE The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon

The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon is a trail running event covering 14.35 miles along the North East coastline of the United Kingdom. Starting at the Redcar Beach Base at Majuba Road, the point-to-point route heads south and concludes in the fishing village of Staithes.

The course follows paths along the Cleveland Way, taking participants through coastal villages, across sandy beaches, and along cliff tops. Notable landmarks include the 'Circle' sculpture, also known as The Charm Bracelet, located between miles 7 and 8 of the route. As a trail event, the terrain includes varied surfaces such as mud, sand, rocks, and wooded areas. The course features a total elevation gain of 1591 feet.

This event has a maximum capacity of 150 places and is open to participants aged 17 or older. There is a general cutoff time of 5 hours, which accommodates walkers. Trophies are awarded to the first finishers in the male, female, and non-binary categories, as well as for male and female winners in the 50, 60, and 70 age groups.
