Charm Bracelet Half Marathon
The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon on 11th April 2027 covers the first half of the Charm Bracelet marathon route. The trail is 14.35 miles long and follows the King Charles III England Coast Path from Redcar to the historical fishing village of Staithes. The route passes coastal villages, runs on sand, and includes cliff-top sections and the Cleveland Way. A notable landmark on the course is the Circle sculpture between miles 7 and 8.
This is a trail event with varied underfoot conditions. Participants will encounter mud, sand, rocks and trees. The course includes 1591 ft of elevation. The organisers allow five hours to complete the route and provide tail runners for support. There are two marshalled aid stations offering water and snacks, and first aid cover will be available on the day.
Practical details: entry fees are £39 standard or £37 affiliate, and optional coach transport from Staithes to the start is offered for £10. The entrance fee includes a finishers medal and two aid station provisions; a finishers t shirt is available and there is an option to plant a tree instead of taking a tee through Trees Not Tees. Trophies are awarded in overall and age categories. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Booking terms: entries may be transferred to another participant up to four weeks before the event, entries may be deferred once to the following year, and refunds are not offered.
