CBTE The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon
The event is scheduled for 11 April 2027 and is based at Redcar Beach Base, Majuba Road, Redcar TS10 5BJ. The course heads south from Redcar beach and finishes in the fishing village of Staithes.
The route covers 14.35 miles along the north east coast and passes the 'Circle' sculpture between miles 7 and 8. Runners pass through coastal villages, run on sand, follow cliff paths and sections of the Cleveland Way.
This is a trail running event with varied underfoot conditions including mud, sand, rocks and tree roots. The course features 1591 ft of total elevation, so the profile is not flat. Organizers provide a five hour cutoff that allows walkers.
Entry details listed for the event include a minimum age of 17, 150 available places, and entry fees of £37 for affiliated runners and £39 for non affiliated runners. Entries open 21 February 2026 and close 20 March 2027. Trophies are awarded to first male, female and non binary finishers and to first male and female in the 50, 60 and 70 age categories.
