Charm Bracelet 50 and 104
The Charm Bracelet events are long distance trail ultramarathons that finish in Skinningrove on the North-East coast. Two distances are offered, starting from different villages on the route that follows established national trails.
- 104 miles : 6,563 ft total ascent
- 50 miles : 1,079 ft total ascent
The 104 mile route starts in Dufton and follows the Pennine Way, then the Teesdale Way, finishing with the King Charles III Coastal Path and the Cleveland Way for the final miles. The 50 mile event follows the second half of the same route, starting in Croft-on-Tees and finishing at Skinningrove.
Both courses are fully tracked and include multiple staffed checkpoints with hot and cold food or snacks; the 104 mile route has 10 checkpoints and the 50 mile route has 4 checkpoints. Entries include a GPS tracker, food and drink at checkpoints, a finishers medal and a t-shirt option. Support runners are permitted from the second checkpoint, approximately 20 miles into the course. Relay entries can have 2 to 4 team members and must arrange changeover transport.
Event logistics include bag drop locations, first aid provision, and cut-off limits of 40 hours for the 104 mile course and 20 hours for the 50 mile course.
