Distances
The event offers two ultra marathon distances: the Charm Bracelet 100 (104 miles) and the Charm Bracelet 50 (50 miles).
Route
The Charm Bracelet 100 starts in Dufton, Cumbria. The route follows the Pennine Way, then the Teesdale Way, and finishes on the King Charles III Coastal Path and Cleveland Way for the last 6 miles, ending in Skinningrove.
The Charm Bracelet 50 follows the second half of the 100-mile route, starting in Croft-on-Tees and finishing in Skinningrove.
Event Information
The event is fully tracked. There are checkpoints providing food and water. The entry fee includes a finishers medal, t-shirt, water, snacks, hot and cold food, and a GPS tracker. There is an option to plant a tree instead of receiving a finishers t-shirt.
Trophies are awarded for 1st male, 1st female, 1st non-binary, and age category winners (FV50, 60, 70 and MV50, 60, 70).
Logistics and Cutoffs
The cut-off time is 40 hours for the 100-mile event and 20 hours for the 50-mile event. Relay team entries are possible with 2 to 4 runners. Support runners are permitted after the second checkpoint on the 100-mile route and from the start for the 50-mile route. There is a bag drop facility at several checkpoints. A coach transfer from Skinningrove to the start is available if booked.
For the 100-mile event, runners planning to be unsupported must provide proof of completion of a previous 50-mile or longer event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
