CBTE Charm Bracelet 100 & 50
The CBTE Charm Bracelet is a long-distance trail event taking place in early October. The routes utilize several national trails in the UK, including the Pennine Way, the Teesdale Way, the King Charles 3rd Coastal Path, and the Cleveland Way. The event features two main distances:
- 100 miles (approximately 104 miles)
- 50 miles
The 100 mile course begins at Dufton Methodist Chapel in Cumbria. It involves over 6,000 feet of elevation gain and includes 10 checkpoints providing a variety of hot food, cold food, and snacks. This distance is open to solo runners, walkers, and relay teams of 2 to 4 people. Unsupported solo participants must provide proof of completing a previous event of at least 50 miles. Support runners are permitted to join participants after the second checkpoint.
The 50 mile course starts at Croft on Tees Village Hall. This route is described as undulating with 1,709 feet of elevation gain. It includes 4 checkpoints along the way. Both distances finish at Skinningrove Village Hall.
All participants receive a finishers medal, t-shirt, and a GPS tracker for live progress monitoring. Pie and mash are provided at the finish line for all dietary requirements. Awards are presented for first place finishers in male, female, and non-binary categories, as well as specific age categories for the 50 mile distance.
