Chapman Farm St. Patrick's Day Fun Run and Walk
The Chapman Farm St. Patrick's Day Fun Run and Walk is a community event in Crofton hosted by the Chapman Farm HOA Social Committee. The event offers an in-person run, an in-person walk, and a virtual option. Runners complete two laps around the neighborhood; walkers complete one loop. Strollers are allowed for walkers but not in the run.
Registration for both the in-person events and the virtual option is closed and the event is sold out. Transfers to other people are not permitted and the wait list is closed. The event is rain-or-shine and organizers state there are no refunds and no race day registration.
Runners are timed and age group awards are given; the top male and female finishers receive a Raising Cane's prize basket. Virtual participants must pick up their packet prior to the event or early on race day because packets are not mailed. A community potluck takes place after the run and walk.
Participants receive a finisher medal and a variety of sponsored items, including a Chapman Farm silicone cup for early registrants, food items and hydration samples, and other sponsor-provided items. A raffle is available for those who donate or purchase items at checkout. Volunteers are used for event setup and race day duties, and middle and high school volunteers can receive forms for service hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
