About the race
Chapman Farm St. Patrick's Day Fun Run and Walk takes place on March 13, 2027 at the Chapman Farm Clubhouse in Crofton, Maryland. The community event is organized by the Chapman Farm HOA Social Committee and is presented as a family-friendly gathering.
Event options include:
- 2.7 Miles : timed run with age group prizes and awards for top male and female finishers (Raising Cane’s prize basket noted).
- 1.4 Miles : community walk.
- Virtual Chapman Farm Fun Run or Walk : participants may complete the event remotely; virtual packets must be picked up prior to the event or early on race day and are not mailed.
Course and participation details: runners complete two laps around the neighborhood while walkers complete one loop. Strollers are allowed for walkers but not in the run. The event is rain-or-shine with no refunds and no race day registration. Registration fees are listed at $15.00 for the listed options and registration opens in late 2026 with a December 14, 2026 closing date per organizer notes. The first 200 registrants receive a custom Chapman Farm silicone cup.
All participants receive event swag and sponsor samples, including a finisher’s medal and various food and beverage coupons and samples. The event includes a raffle (entry with a $10 donation or store purchase) and volunteer opportunities; middle and high school volunteers may receive service hour documentation.
