About the race
The Chapman Farm St. Patrick's Day Fun Run and Walk is the 4th annual community event hosted by the Chapman Farm HOA at the Chapman Farm Clubhouse in Crofton, MD. The event brings together neighbors for a family-oriented run and walk with both in-person and virtual participation options.
Event formats and distances:
- 2.7 Miles : Chapman Farm Fun Run, timed with age group prizes.
- 1.4 Miles : Chapman Farm Fun Walk, strollers welcome for walkers.
- Virtual Chapman Farm Fun Run or Walk : participants complete the distance on their own; virtual packets must be picked up prior to the event or early on race day and are not mailed.
Entry for each listed event has a registration fee of $15.00 and no race day registration is offered. The event is rain or shine and no refunds are available. The first 200 registered participants receive a custom Chapman Farm silicone cup.
Awards and participant items are provided. Runners receive age group awards and top male and female finishers receive a Raising Cane’s prize basket. All registered participants receive a finisher medal and a variety of food items, coupons, and sample products from local and national partners. A community potluck follows the run and walk.
A raffle is available to participants who donate $10 or more at checkout or purchase an item from the event store. Volunteers, including middle and high school students, may receive service hour verification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
