2026 Champaign Aruna Run
The Champaign Aruna Run is a fundraising 5k held on October 17, 2026 at the University of Illinois Arboretum, 1800 South Lincoln Avenue, Urbana, IL 61801. The event is organized by the Aruna Project and the Aruna Run Race Series; 100% of registration fees support programs that free, employ, and empower trafficked women.
Registration pricing is tiered: early, standard, and late registration windows with different fee levels. Participants who register by September 20 are guaranteed a race t-shirt and size. Event swag for this year includes an Aruna Beach Bag made by Aruna Artisans and a District Tri-Blend tee in Army Green; the t-shirt logo and beach bag buttons feature the names of ten trafficked women highlighted by the series.
Packet pickup is available at the event location. Parking options include the Arboretum lot, street parking, and the College of Veterinary Medicine parking lot. Race timing is provided by Race Penguin.
Awards and fundraising incentives are offered: top female and male finishers will receive an Aruna Dopp Kit and a $50 Aruna Shop gift card, and the top fundraiser will receive the same. Team incentives include a $25 Aruna gift card for every ten people who join a team, and individual fundraisers earn a $25 Aruna gift card for each $250 raised.
