2026 Champaign Aruna Run
The Champaign Aruna Run is a 5K family-friendly run/walk held on October 17, 2026 at the University of Illinois Arboretum, 1800 South Lincoln Avenue, Urbana, IL 61801. The event includes packet pickup on race day at the Arboretum and parking is available at the Arboretum, on nearby streets, and in the College of Veterinary Medicine parking lot.
Registration is tiered by date with listed entry fees of $37 for early-bird registration, $42 for standard registration, and $47 for late registration. Registrants who register by September 20 are guaranteed a race t-shirt and size. The event notes that 100% of registration fees support Aruna Project programs to free, employ, and empower trafficked women.
Participant recognition and incentives are outlined: top female and male finishers will receive an Aruna Dopp Kit and a $50 Aruna Shop gift card, and the top fundraiser will receive the same prizes. Team building and fundraising incentives include a $25 Aruna gift card for every ten people who join a team and a $25 Aruna gift card for each $250 raised by an individual; gift cards are to be emailed the week following the run.
