About the race
Challenge-toi is scheduled for 26 September 2026 at the Centre de glaces Intact Assurance on Avenue De Rochebelle in Québec City. The day combines two family free-skate sessions presented by Intact Assurance and the first edition of the Challenge-toi individual running challenge, offered in collaboration with Les Classiques Capitale. A collaborative mural activity for children will take place inside the centre with the event mascot Clap. The event offers a youth format for participants aged 4 to 16.
This format is 100 percent free and lasts 20 minutes on a 455 meter indoor track. Participants may run, walk, or alternate the two and choose how many laps to complete during the timed window. The stated objectives are participation, physical activity and enjoyment. An open Challenge-toi format is available to all ages.
Participants have 90 minutes on the same 455 meter track to complete as many laps as they choose, at their own pace. Times are officially recorded and distances are counted. Each participant receives a personalized certificate showing their distance and time.
