About the race
Čertovskej ultratrail is a series of off‑road races held in the natural area of Kokořínsko and Máchův kraj. The programme includes multiple formats and editions:
- 66.6 km (Čertovskej ultratrail) with an 11th edition on 5 June 2027 and relay options.
- 33.3 km and 16.6 km distances offered at related events.
- 33.3 km and 16.6 km at Čertovskej wintertrail, held in the hills, forests and among rocks around Hamr na Jezeře; the wintertrail 10th edition is listed for 28 November 2026.
- Čertovská výzva 666 is an 8‑day stage event of 666 km (3rd edition 3–10 June 2028) with multiple stage participation options, including the full eight stages and shorter stage packages.
The route descriptions emphasise varied terrain: mountains, old mines, castle surroundings and waters. The 66.6 km race was part of Ultracup in 2026. Races carry UTMB index recognitions (Index 50 km on the 66.6 km route, Index 20 km on 33.3 km routes, and index 100m for the 666 challenge) and offer ITRA points: 3 points for 66.6 km, 2 points for the summer 33.3 km, 1 point for the winter 33.3 km, and 6 points for completing the 666 km or 315 km variants. Events are organised with permission of local municipalities and state forest and conservation authorities, and receive regional financial support.
