Cerebral Palsy Awareness 5K
The Cerebral Palsy Awareness 5K is the first annual 5K run and walk held on October 11, 2026 at Veteran's Park, 2206 Kuser Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690. The event is USATF sanctioned and is part of the 2026 Grand Prix Race Series. Proceeds benefit Strides 4 Gianluca, an official 501c3 nonprofit that supports awareness, cerebral palsy research organizations, families affected by cerebral palsy, and related projects.
The event offers an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option. Virtual participants may complete their 5K on their own schedule up to the end of October; virtual results do not count toward the official in-person race results and virtual registrations do not include the 5K participant shirt. Medals will be awarded to the overall top female and male finishers and to the first, second, and third female and male finishers in each age group.
Participant t-shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 26, 2026 and shirts will be distributed at the 5K location on race day only; shirts will not be mailed. Strollers are welcome and must line up at the back of the starting area. The run is planned as a rain or shine event and will be canceled only in the event of emergency weather.
