Cerebral Palsy Awareness 5K
The Cerebral Palsy Awareness 5K takes place on October 11, 2026 at Veteran's Park, 2206 Kuser Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690. The event is organized by Strides 4 Gianluca, an official 501c3 nonprofit. The race is a USATF sanctioned event and part of the 2026 Grand Prix Race Series. Proceeds benefit Strides 4 Gianluca and support awareness and related projects for those affected by cerebral palsy. The event is held in honor of World Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day on October 6.
The event offers both in person and virtual 5K options. Medals will be awarded to the overall top female and male finishers and to first, second, and third place female and male finishers in each age group. Participant t shirts are distributed only at the 5K location on race day and cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 26, 2026. The virtual 5K does not include the in person shirt option and virtual times do not count toward the official in person results. The run is scheduled to proceed rain or shine, and strollers are welcome but must line up at the back of the start. A course map and additional event details are provided by the organizers.
