Centurion Trail 33 Hour Ultra - Roosevelt Forest, Stratford CT
The Centurion Trail 33 Hour Ultra takes place June 27 - 28, 2026 at Roosevelt Forest in Stratford, Connecticut. The event gives participants up to 33 hours to complete 100 miles. The top three male and female runners are those who reach 100 miles the fastest within the 33-hour limit. All runners who reach 100 miles receive a buckle and all finishers receive a Forbidden Forest Commendation.
The course is a looped trail with measured elevation gain of about 193 feet per lap. The terrain is typical New England single and double track with roots, rocks, and rolling hills. The pavilion serves as the event aid station.
Event logistics note limited parking and a designated rest and recuperation field adjacent to the pavilion for tents, canopies, and crew stations; overnight camping on Friday is prohibited by town ordinance. Porta potties are located nearby. Dogs are permitted as spectators but must be kept on leash.
Registration is limited to 50 participants. Registration is final with no refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals. Entrants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental or guardian signed waiver. Entry fees support event preparation, permits, and charitable contributions.
Food and hydration are provided at the aid station; runners with specific dietary needs are advised to bring their own supplies. Pacers are allowed under event rules after 12 hours or after a runner has completed 60 miles; one pacer per runner at a time and registration and waiver are required for pacers.
