Event overview
The Centurion Track 100 is a record-focused 100 mile event scheduled for 1 January 2027 at Bedford International Athletics Stadium. The race is held on a 400 metre all-weather track and is run in Lanes 1, 2 and 3. Entry is by invitation or qualification only; entry is limited to 25 entrants with organisers anticipating 15–20 starters. The published entry fee is £215 and the overall cut-off for the 100 mile distance is 17 hours. Crews are permitted and may set up on the infield; they must remain stationary when handing items to or communicating with a runner. A full aid station will provide food and drinks for all runners.
Course, timing and records
The course will be officially measured and certified under UKA standards and overseen by UKA officials and timekeepers. Electronic timing is used, with a second timing system and live video of the entire event. Anti-doping measures will apply for any World or Continental Open Records. The event records individual ratifiable splits at multiple distances and holds Gold Label status for each split under the IAU.
