Centurion Track 100

The Centurion Track 100 is an elite level track event focused on fast, record eligible performances over the 100 mile distance. It takes place at Bedford International Athletics Stadium on 1 January 2027 and is contested on a 400 metre all weather track.

The course is officially measured and certified to UKA standards, overseen by a UKA referee and a UKA Level 4 time keeper, and operates under a UKA permit. The event holds IAU Gold Labels for each of its ratifiable split distances. Anti doping is in place for any World or Continental Open Records.

Runners use lanes 1, 2 and 3 and change running direction every four hours, with a final direction change at 12 hours for the last five hours. Electronic timing with a secondary timing system and live video are used. The overall cut off for the 100 mile distance is 17 hours.

Entry is by invitation or qualification only, with the field limited to 25 entries and an anticipated 15 to 20 starters. The entry fee is £215. Crews are permitted in designated infield areas and must remain stationary when handing items or communicating with runners. A full aid station and medical support are provided.
