Centurion Track 100
The Centurion Track 100 is a track-based 100 mile event held at Bedford International Athletics Stadium. It is organised to enable record-eligible performances over the 100 mile distance with ratified split times at multiple intermediate marks. The course is a certified 400 metre all-weather track measured under UKA standards and overseen by a UKA referee and a UKA Level 4 timekeeper. The event holds UKA permit status.
Timing uses electronic start/finish timing, a second timing system and live video to ensure splits are record eligible under UKA, IAU and World Athletics rules. Anti-doping measures are in place for any World or Continental open records. The event holds IAU Gold Labels for each of its ratified distances and splits.
Entry is by invitation or qualification only and is limited to a small field. The published entry fee applies to all accepted runners. Crews are permitted on the infield in designated areas; crew activity must comply with IAU rules and remain stationary when handing items. A full aid station will provide a range of food and drinks, and medical support is provided on site.
Past editions have produced multiple world, continental and national records across the main distance and intermediate splits.
