Cedar Flats Trail Trot
The Cedar Flats Trail Trot is the inaugural trail running event held on August 15, 2026, near Columbia Falls, Montana. The event uses a looped route that begins at the Cedar Ridge Trailhead and travels through the Cedar Flats Trail system and parts of the Flathead National Forest. The 10K route has 791 feet of elevation gain and the actual course length will be approximately 6.2 miles.
The race is organized by Gateway to Glacier Trails, a trail-building nonprofit that built and maintains the Cedar Flats network. Cedar Flats is a 15+ mile nonmotorized, multiuse trail system.
Registration details are provided in advance: registration opens May 27 and closes July 4. Early registration through July 3 is $40 and the regular fee is $50 after that date. T-shirt pre-orders are available until July 27 with pickup on race day. Participant numbers are limited. All proceeds from the event go to Gateway to Glacier Trails.
