Cedar 5K & 1 Mile Cedar Shake Fun Run/Walk
The event takes place on April 17, 2027 in Birmingham, Alabama at St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church, 836 Eighth Street South. It includes a timed 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

The entry fee listed for event options is $17.76. Cotton short sleeve T shirts and race goodie bags are provided to the first 200 registrants in available youth and adult sizes. A SleepIn registration option is offered; SleepIn registrants receive a shirt and may pick it up at packet pickup.
Pre-race packet pickup occurs the day before the event at St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church. Raffle eligibility requires registration by April 16. The 5K awards overall male and female winners and top three male and female finishers in the age groups 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Fun Run participants each receive a finisher award.
Team awards include Largest Team, Fastest Team based on the first five team finishers in the 5K, and a Team Spirit Award. A team must have five or more registered participants by April 14, 2027 to qualify as a team. All proceeds benefit Food for Our Journey. Participants must wear their race bib on the front of their shirt to receive a recorded time in the 5K. Pets are not allowed on the course and must be leashed off course. Strollers should start from the back of the starting area and children must be kept with their adults. Entry fees are non refundable and non transferable.
