46th Annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5K and 2 Mile Fun Walk
The Corona del Mar Chamber presents the 46th annual Scenic 5K and 2 Mile Fun Walk, an event on the bluffs above Corona del Mar State Beach in Corona Del Mar, California. The program includes multiple distance options for adults and children, a vendor fair, restaurant tasting area called Restaurant Row, and a post event party with live entertainment and an awards ceremony.
Registration includes a commemorative race t-shirt, race bib, chip timing, place awards, bottled water, and breakfast provided by local eateries. Fees are tiered and lower for early registrants; teams of ten or more receive a discounted rate. Several registration methods are offered, including online registration, a printable form, and pre-event packet pick-up at a local community center.
Parking is available free at the Corona del Mar State Beach parking lot. The course begins on the bluffs above the state beach at 3001 Ocean Blvd, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625; the start line is marked with a balloon arch and banner. Volunteers are recruited for race day and receive an event t-shirt, coffee and pastry, and community service hour documentation.
