CBTE Esk Valley Epic
The CBTE Esk Valley Epic is a circular ultra distance event held in Glaisdale. The course covers a distance of 36 miles and includes a total elevation gain of 4,487 feet. The route follows the path of the Esk Valley Walk, starting and finishing at The Robinson Institute.
Participants travel through the Esk Valley landscape on a tracked route. The event is open to both runners and walkers, with a minimum age requirement of 20 years old. The course features five designated checkpoints where participants can find support during the activity.

- 36 miles (58 km) with 4,487 feet of elevation gain.
A cut-off time of 14 hours is in place for the event. The registration fee includes a finisher medal, a t-shirt, water, and snacks. Trophies are awarded to the first place finishers in male, female, and non-binary categories, as well as several age-based classifications ranging from V50 to V70 for both men and women.
