Belvoir Castle Multisport Event
The Belvoir Castle Multisport Event takes place on 17 and 18 July 2027 within the Belvoir Castle estate in Leicestershire. The weekend uses the estate’s natural landscape across approximately 3,000 acres and presents a programme of triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, open water swim and running events.
Races are offered across a wide range of distances and formats, from junior triathlon races for 9 to 16 year olds up to middle distance triathlon and a full marathon. Examples of published distances include the Gauntlet middle distance triathlon (1.9 km swim / 90 km bike / 21 km run), Olympic triathlon (1.5 km / 45 km / 10.5 km), and run races such as the marathon and half marathon. Junior racing is organised over two days with 9–12 year olds on Saturday and 13–16 year olds on Sunday. Several swim distances are scheduled on Saturday including 5 km and 2.5 km events.
The event is British Triathlon Federation permitted; triathlon and multisport entrants must hold an appropriate BTF membership or purchase a single use race pass. Onsite facilities noted for past events include a festival village, photographers positioned around course and finish, medal presentation with personalised medals, and a family campsite with pitches starting at £30.
