CASA Superhero Run - Leavenworth
The CASA Superhero Run is a community running event on September 26, 2026, at 2115 Ottawa Street, Leavenworth, KS. The event offers both in person and virtual race options and includes a short kids race for children 12 and under.

The event supports the CASA program. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate and is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe, permanent home. CASA volunteers speak exclusively for a child’s best interests and typically handle only one or two cases at a time. Volunteers gather information from the child, parents, family members, neighbors, school officials, doctors, and others, review records and documents, and submit a formal report to the court recommending placement or permanency. If the court leaves the child in temporary care, the volunteer remains on the case until it is resolved and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home.
