The Carver Old Home Day 5-Miler is scheduled for July 25, 2026 in Carver, Massachusetts, with the event centered at Shurtleff Park on Main Street. The road race follows a loop through local back roads and bogs before returning to the park.
Online registration is open through the end of the day on July 24 at 11:59 pm, and onsite registration is available. Walkers are welcome, running strollers start in the back, and dogs are not permitted. Registration categories and fees listed for the event include: Children (10 and Under) $20, Students (11-18) $25, and Adults (18+) $35 for the listed registration period.
All race parking is at Carver Elementary School, 85 Main Street; there is no race-day parking or runner drop-off at Shurtleff Park. Participants should allow time to walk approximately 3/10 mile from the school to the park. An area will be provided at the start/finish for bags and non-valuable items.
Awards are given to the overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers, first place in multiple age groups (10 & under through 80+), and special awards for Carver residents. Race proceeds have funded scholarships for Carver high school students since 2013. The road race is part of the larger Carver Old Home Day festival, which includes live music, handcrafted goods, a classic car cruise, a horseshoe tournament, a clambake, and fireworks.
