Carver Old Home Day 5 Miler : event description
The event is a 5-Miler road race held in Carver, Massachusetts, as part of the Carver Old Home Day celebration on July 25, 2026. The course begins and ends at Shurtleff Park and loops through local back roads and bog areas before returning to the park.
Online registration is available through the end of the day on July 24, and onsite registration will also be available. Walkers are welcome. Running strollers start toward the back of the field. Dogs are not permitted.
Registration pricing listed for the event includes Students (ages 11-18) at $25, Children (10 and under) at $20, and Adults (18 and over) at $35, with those prices shown for the April 16 to July 24 registration period.
Race proceeds have supported scholarships for local high school students since 2013. Awards are given to the overall first through third place male and female finishers and first place in multiple age groups, including a Carver resident award. Race parking is provided at Carver Elementary School, 85 Main Street, with a short walk of 3/10 mile to Shurtleff Park. There is no race day parking or runner drop-off at the park.
