Carsington Hill Race

The Carsington Hill Race is an evening fell race scheduled for June 6, 2025, organized by Friends of St Margaret's to support village facilities. The race covers a distance of 9.5 km (6 miles) with an ascent of 267m (875ft), featuring varied terrain through ancient mined landscapes and modern turbines, offering stunning views of the Peak District and Carsington Water. Participants can enjoy refreshments and food at the Village Hub, with free parking available at Sheepwash Car Park.
