Carnation's Run for the Pies and Pints! 5K Run
The event is a community 5K held on Remlinger Farms property in Carnation, Washington. The course follows quiet farm roads lined with trees and white pasture fences and offers views of the Snoqualmie Valley and the Tolt River. The event is part of a Valley Fourth of July tradition that has run for more than 30 years and marks the community's 250th year.
The finish area is adjacent to Remlinger Brewery where finishers receive a pint glass redeemable for a beer for participants 21+ or for a nonalcoholic root beer. Race swag includes a race day tech shirt and a finisher's pint glass while supplies last. One Remlinger brew or a nonalcoholic tap beverage is provided. Late registrants may receive beer or soda served in a non-take-home glass pint.
Awards include pies for the top three in each age category and four cash prizes of $150 awarded to first place overall male and female and first place Super Master male and female aged 60 and over. The day also features downtown parades, ongoing festivities, and fireworks at Remlinger. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
