Carl's 5K
Carl's 5K is a memorial 5K run and walk held on October 10, 2026, at North Beach Oasis in Racine, WI. The event follows an out and back course that starts at the North Beach Oasis, proceeds north on a paved bike trail with views of Lake Michigan on the right, continues onto Michigan Boulevard, then returns to the finish at the North Beach Oasis.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each 5-year age group. All finishers receive a finisher's medal from the event honoree's personal collection (distributed at random), a commemorative pin for the lanyard, a goodie bag, and entry into a post-race raffle. A complimentary beer is provided for participants aged 21 and over.
Packet pickup is located at the North Beach Oasis on the race day. Parking is available at the North Beach Oasis and in the surrounding area. The event is presented as a memorial occasion and includes recognition items and age-group awards to mark performance and participation.
