Run Carlisle
Run Carlisle is a road running event in Carlisle scheduled for March 21 2027. The event starts and finishes at Brunton Park Football Stadium, the home of Carlisle United. It is organised by IM EVENTS, a promoter of sporting events across the North of England.
The programme includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- Fun Run : 1.3 miles
Prize money and trophies are awarded to the first three finishers in each event for both men and women, and additional veteran category prizes are provided. Participants in the Half Marathon and 10K receive a medal, T-shirt and goody bag; Fun Run entrants receive a medal and goody bag. Entry fees listed for 2027 include affiliated and unaffiliated rates for the Half Marathon and 10K, and a fee for the Fun Run.
The event works with a set of local charities and several commercial sponsors, with a named main sponsor. Course maps and course accuracy documents are published for the Half Marathon and 10K.
