Carleton Choo Choo 5K and 1-Mile Chugga Chugga Fun Run
The event is the fourth annual running of the Carleton Choo Choo 5K run and the 1-mile Chugga Chugga fun run on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Carleton, Michigan. The course begins at Ash Park, follows streets through Downtown Carleton, and returns to Ash Park. Proceeds support Airport's Cross Country Program. Walkers are welcome in all events.

Timed results will be posted after the races. There are no finisher medals. Packet pick-up and in-person registration are available the day before and on race day. Registration opens March 26, 2026. Registration pricing includes an early bird 5K rate of $25 through April 30, a later 5K rate of $30 through May 31, and a race day 5K rate of $35. The 1-mile fun run registration is listed at $15 through race day, with a free 1-mile option for participants age 17 and under that does not include a t-shirt. T-shirt purchases without running are available as a separate option. Registration by May 15 guarantees a t-shirt; shirts are not guaranteed after that date.
