Carleton Choo Choo 5K and Chugga Chugga 1 Mile Fun Run
The Carleton Choo Choo event is the fourth annual running of a 5K run/walk and a separate 1 mile fun run held on June 6, 2026 in Carleton, Michigan. The course begins in Ash Park, continues through the streets of Downtown Carleton, and returns to Ash Park. Proceeds support Airport’s Cross Country Program.

Registration includes tiered fees for the 5K and a paid 1 mile option, plus a free 1 mile entry for participants age 17 and under that does not include a T-shirt. Registrations made by May 15 are guaranteed a T-shirt; shirt availability is not guaranteed after that date. A T-shirt only purchase option is available separately.
Race results will be posted following the event. There are no finisher medals. Walkers are welcome in all events. Race packets and T-shirts will be available for pick-up on the Friday before the event and on race day morning. In-person registration is available during packet pick-up.
