Capt'n Karl's Reveille Peak Ranch
Capt'n Karl's Reveille Peak Ranch is a nighttime trail running event at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas, held on August 8, 2026. It serves as the final event in the Capt'n Karl's Trail Series and includes a youth trail race.
The course features single track, exposed sections, tree-covered woods, large rock domes and varied hills. The venue description lists total elevation gain of 3812 ft across the course layout. Course formats use laps for longer distances: the 30k is two laps and the 60k is four laps.

Aid stations: the 30k and 60k have four aid stations including the start area; two are fully serviced and two provide water, ice and electrolytes only. Fully serviced stations list cookies, PBJ sandwiches, oranges, bananas, watermelon, pickles, pickle juice, fruit snacks, Pringles, Coke, Mt. Dew, ginger ale, Tailwind and SaltStick. The 10k uses a single aid station encountered twice; the 5k uses one aid station.
Medals are awarded to all finishers and are also offered to participants who attempt a distance but do not finish. Awards go to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top masters male and female. This event operates cupless so participants should bring their own water container. Pacers are allowed only for 60k runners on the second lap and must complete event registration and pay a special event fee on arrival; pacers must start and end at the race hub and only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time.
