Capt'n Karl's Reveille Peak Ranch
Capt'n Karl's Reveille Peak Ranch is the final event in the Capt'n Karl's Trail Series at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas on August 8, 2026. The ranch is a privately owned adventure park located about 55 miles northwest of Austin. Distances offered include:
- 5k
- 10k
- 20k
- 30k
- 60k
- Youth trail run (Kids Mile)
The course includes large rock domes and varied terrain with single track, exposed sections, tree-covered woods, hills and technical sections. The venue has significant elevation gain listed at 3812 ft. Loop formats are used for several races, for example the 20k is one loop, the 30k is two loops and the 60k is three loops.
Aid support differs by distance. The 20k, 30k and 60k use four aid stations including the start and finish; one station is visited twice in a loop. The 5k and 10k have two aid stations including the start and finish. Fully serviced stations provide items such as cookies, PBJ sandwiches, fruit, pickles and pickle juice, snacks, soda, Tailwind and electrolyte products.
This is a cupless event; participants should bring a cup, water bottle or hydration system. Medals are given to all finishers and attempts may also be recognized with a medal. Awards are presented to the top three overall males and females and the top Masters male and female. Pacers are allowed for 60k runners on the second lap only and must follow event pacer rules and registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
