About the race
Capital Duathlon is scheduled for 11 October 2026 at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra, ACT. The event includes the Australian Standard Distance Duathlon Championship and multiple other races on the same day.
Races and distances include:
- Standard: 10 km run, 40 km bike, 5 km run
- Sprint: 5 km run, 20 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Kids (7–12): 1 km run, 3.75 km bike, 0.5 km run
- Fun Run: 5 km and 10 km options
The Standard race is a non-draft legal Australian Championship and a national qualifier. The Sprint race is draft legal and listed as a state championship and national qualifier. Race courses are set within the facilities and surrounds of Stromlo Forest Park. Distances are noted as subject to change.
Registration is managed through the JustGo platform. AusTriathlon annual Standard or Premium members should enter using their membership profile and select the appropriate member ticket. Non-members must purchase a non-member ticket that includes a One Day Licence and athlete insurance. Entry fees vary by category and time of purchase; published prices range approximately from $30 to $187.50 depending on race and member status.
