CAPE 100™ : event overview
CAPE 100™ is an annual point-to-point road ultra marathon of 100 kilometres in the Western Cape, South Africa. The course connects Stellenbosch and Hermanus and is described by the organiser as traversing scenic regional landscapes.
The event includes an athlete-focused Race Village at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate in Stellenbosch where registration and check-in, an expo and merchandise area, and a T-shirt swap are held across race weekend. The organiser provides shuttle bus services for participants and notes an official afterparty at the Race Village. The schedule also records an official race brief ahead of race weekend and a last runner cut-off on race day.
Public entries for the inaugural CAPE 100 were opened for the 5 September 2027 running, and entries are managed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. The organiser publishes an event schedule and indicates that times and details are subject to change. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
