Canton Run Ruck 5K
The Canton Run Ruck 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Plain Township Memorial Park in Canton, Ohio (1714 Schneider St NE, Canton, OH 44721). The event includes a 5K and a separate Memorial Mile walk.

The event is organized to honor service and to support local veterans' service organizations. Proceeds benefit organizations serving Stark County, including the SAM Center and the Veterans Service Commission. In its inaugural year the event sold out in 100 days, raised $4,000 for local veterans' service organizations, and supported volunteer efforts that adopted 30 local veterans' families for the holidays.
All race finishers receive a custom 2026 Canton Ruck Run 5K finisher medal. Tribute Signs are available for purchase for $30 each; signs include a veteran's name and branch of service, are displayed along the course, and may be taken home after the event. Proceeds from Tribute Signs also support local veterans' service organizations.
