Event Overview
The Canton Run Ruck 5K takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Plain Township Memorial Park in Canton, Ohio. This is the event's second year. The activity is described as a community-driven movement to honor service and support local veterans.

- Veteran Registration - 5K Run / Walk
- Adult 5K Run/Walk
- Student 5K Run/Walk (open to ages 5 - 25)
- Memorial Mile Walk
- TEAM RUCK, where groups complete the 5K together by rucking, running, or walking.
Impact and Beneficiaries
Proceeds from the event directly benefit local veterans' service organizations, including the SAM Center and the Veterans Service Commission. In its first year, the event sold out in 100 days, raised $4,000, and supported 30 veterans' families during the holidays.
Participant Information
All finishers receive a custom event medal. Participants can purchase Tribute Signs for $30 to honor a veteran; these signs are displayed along the course and can be taken home afterward.
