Canton Ruck Run 5K
The Canton RUCK RUN 5K is a community event at Plain Township Memorial Park in Canton, Ohio that honors military service and supports local veteran organizations. The event includes a timed 5K with awards and a separate Memorial Mile Walk focused on remembrance.

The 5K is a timed race and awards are presented after the race concludes. All participants in event categories receive a 2026 Canton Ruck Run 5K finisher medal. Veteran and student registration categories are available with recognition of service and eligibility for timed-award placement where applicable.
TEAM RUCK is for groups who complete the 5K together by rucking, running, or walking. It is not a timed competition, teams may consist of two or more participants, and participants register individually. Teams are encouraged to finish together and may ruck weighted or unweighted.
The Memorial Mile Walk is a quiet mile of remembrance through the Veterans Memorial. There is no timing; volunteers will assist elderly and disabled veterans to make the walk accessible. Personalized tribute signs are offered for a fee, displayed along the course and taken home after the event, with proceeds supporting local veteran organizations.
