Event Overview

The Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run is scheduled for March 9, 2026. It is held at Lennox Gardens District Park on Flynn Drive in Yarralumla, Canberra. The event is hosted by the ACT Government.

Course and Distances

The course takes participants around Lake Burley Griffin on concrete paths. Two distances are offered:

5 km

The course is accessible, with no stairs along the path. There is a cut-off time, and all participants must finish by 11:30 AM. Toilets are available at the event hub and along the course.

Registration and Fees

Registration fees are listed. For the 10 km distance, the fee is $45.00, and for the 5 km distance, it is $30.00. Registrations close on March 8, 2026; no entries are accepted on the day. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a registered guardian.

Charity and Amenities

The event is a fundraiser. Revenue is donated to Hands Across Canberra, a local community foundation that supports local charities. A finisher's medal is given to all participants.
