Canada Day Races - Burlington
Canada Day Races take place on July 1, 2026 at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn near the pier in Burlington, ON. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation, with race kits and bibs required before lining up.

In-person Canada Day 1K registration includes a required CA$20 donation to Joseph Brant Hospital and a finisher medal; a t-shirt is available for purchase. The 3K and 5K entries include a technical Canada Day shirt as part of the race kit. A CA$5 discount applies for youth 16 and under and seniors 65 and over on the 3KM and 5KM events. Free entries and group offers are available and volunteers may be eligible for a complementary entry.
The 3KM and 5KM will be chip timed with results published by the timing provider. Race kit pickup is scheduled on dates before the event at local pickup locations and on race day at Spencer Smith Park. Non-perishable food items will be collected at the race and donations support the Joseph Brant Hospital Mental Health and Addictions program and other local charities. If the in-person race is cancelled due to extreme conditions, entrants will be switched to the virtual event without refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
