Registration, timing and logistics

Registration options include in-person and virtual entries. The in-person 1K registration includes a finisher medal and a required donation to Joseph Brant Hospital; t-shirts are available for purchase. The 3K and 5K in-person entries include a technical Canada Day t-shirt. Virtual entries include a finisher medal, shirt and race kit; shipping for virtual kits is extra. The virtual race window is listed as June 1, 2026 to July 8, 2056. Virtual results can be submitted via the Runkeeper app or Race Roster.

Seniors (65+) and youths (16 and under) receive a CA$10 discount on 3K and 5K registration. The 3K and 5K races are chip timed, with timing services provided by Speed River Timing; results are posted by the timing provider. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the corral. Race kits and bibs must be picked up before lining up; someone else may collect a kit on a participant’s behalf and a race day pickup option is available. The event runs rain or shine; in-person cancellations occur only in extreme conditions and registrants would be switched to the virtual race without refunds.

Donations support the Joseph Brant Hospital MHA program and other listed charities; non-perishable food items will be collected at the race. Free entries and group options are available through the event organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
