Canada Day Races : Burlington
The event takes place at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn, next to the pier, in Burlington, ON. Distances offered for 2026 include:

- 3K
- 5K
The start and finish are at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn. The 3K and 5K will be chip timed and results will be provided by Speed River Timing. Finisher medals for 2026 are planned and Canada Day t-shirts are available, with blue and red color options; inclusion of items varies by registration category.
Both in-person and virtual participation options are available. The virtual race window runs from June 1, 2026 to July 8, 2056; virtual registrations include a race kit, finisher medal and Canada Day shirt, with shipping charged extra. The in-person 1K registration includes a required donation to Joseph Brant Hospital; other registration fees vary by date and category.
Race kit and bib pickup is scheduled at Burlington Running Room (3300 Fairview St., Burlington) and Avella Pain and Injury Clinic (340 Kerr St., Oakville), plus a race day pickup at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn. A $5 age discount applies to participants aged 16 and under and 65 and over. Strollers are permitted and those using a stroller are asked to start at the back of the corral. If the in-person event is cancelled due to extreme conditions, participants will be moved to the virtual race and no refunds will be issued for the in-person event.
