Canada Day Races, Burlington
The Canada Day Races take place on July 1, 2027 at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn, 1400 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, ON. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options and includes timed race services for some distances.

In-person 3K and 5K entries include a technical Canada Day t-shirt. The in-person 1K registration includes a required donation to Joseph Brant Hospital and a finisher medal; t-shirts for that distance are available for purchase. Virtual participants receive a finisher medal, a Canada Day shirt and a race kit, with shipping for virtual kits extra. The virtual option can be completed between June 1 and July 31, 2027 and results may be submitted via the event platform or tracked with the ASICS Runkeeper app.
The 3K and 5K are chip timed with timing services by Speed River Timing; official results are posted online. Race kits and bibs are available for pickup at the Burlington Running Room store on specified pre-race dates and there is a race day pickup option at Spencer Smith Park. A $5 age discount is offered for youth 16 and under and seniors 65 and over. Strollers are permitted with stroller runners asked to start at the back of the field. The event supports fundraising for the Mental Health and Addictions Program at Joseph Brant Hospital and will also collect nonperishable food donations.
