Canada Day Races in Burlington takes place at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn near the pier on July 1, 2027. The event offers multiple distance options and both in-person and virtual participation.

In-person 3 km and 5 km entries include a technical Canada Day t-shirt. The 1 km in-person entry includes a finisher medal; shirts are available to purchase separately. The 3 km and 5 km races are chip timed with timing services provided by Speed River Timing. Race kits and bibs must be picked up before lining up; scheduled pickup times are available at the Burlington Running Room store on Fairview Street and on race day at Spencer Smith Park - East Lawn. Virtual participants can complete their distance between June 1 and July 31, 2027; virtual entries receive a finisher medal, Canada Day shirt, and race kit, with shipping extra. Virtual results can be submitted via the ASICS Runkeeper app or through the event results page.
A $5 age discount applies to youth (16 and under) and seniors (65 and over). The in-person event proceeds and donations support the Joseph Brant Hospital Mental Health and Addictions program and local food charities. Strollers are permitted but should start at the back of the corral. If the in-person event is cancelled for extreme conditions, participants will be moved to the virtual race and no refunds will be issued.
