Canada Day Races
The Canada Day Races take place on July 1, 2027 at Spencer Smith Park East Lawn in Burlington, Ontario. The event offers multiple distances and both in person and virtual participation.

- 1K
- 3K
- 5K
In person entries for the 3K and 5K include a technical Canada Day t shirt. The in person 1K registration includes a finisher medal and requires an additional donation to Joseph Brant Hospital; a virtual 1K option also includes a medal and a required donation. Virtual participants receive a finisher medal, a Canada Day shirt, and a race kit; shipping for virtual kits is extra. The virtual race may be completed any time between June 1 and July 31, 2027. Virtual results can be submitted using the ASICS Runkeeper app or via the event results page.
Race kit pickup is available at the Burlington Running Room store on June 27 and June 30 at 3300 Fairview Street, Burlington, and there is a race day pickup at Spencer Smith Park East Lawn on July 1. The 3K and 5K are chip timed by Speed River Timing and results are posted online.
A $5 age discount is offered for participants aged 16 and under and those 65 and older. Strollers are permitted with participants asked to start at the back of the corral. If the in person event is cancelled for extreme conditions registrants will be moved to the virtual event and no refunds will be issued.
