Cambridge Mill Race
The Cambridge Mill Race takes place on June 14, 2026 at Riverbluffs Park and on the Walter Bean Grand River Trail in Cambridge, Ontario.
Distances offered:
- 1 km Kids Chipmunk Chase for ages 1 to 12, out and back, not timed.
- 8 km Cambridge Mill Race out and back on the Walter Bean trail, chip timed.
The 8 km course is part of the Trans Canada system. The surface is mainly hard packed dirt and stone dust with some asphalt sections. The turn around point is on the paved bike path alongside Blair Road. Water stations are located at the start and at the 3 km and 5 km marks; compostable cups will be available and participants may bring their own water bottles.
A post race lunch is provided by The Cambridge Mill and each participant receives a meal ticket with their race kit. Post race massages are provided by Parke Massage Therapy and complimentary coffee is supplied by Grand Café. All participants receive a Cambridge Mill Race medal and a branded souvenir.
Organizers offer accommodations for accessibility needs and support persons. There is no participant parking at Riverbluffs Park; parking is available on George Street and nearby streets. Any funds raised beyond organizational costs support Pollinator Partnership Canada. The event acknowledges the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe and Neutral People.
