Cambridge Mill Race

The Cambridge Mill Race takes place at Riverbluffs Park and runs along the Walter Bean Trail, part of the Trans Canada network. The main event is an out and back course of approximately 8 km. The surface is mainly hard packed dirt and stone dust with a few asphalt sections. The turnaround is located on the paved bike path alongside Blair Road.

There is also a 1 km Chipmunk Chase for children aged 1 to 12 on the same trail; this children’s race is not timed. The 8 km race is chip timed. All participants receive a medal and a branded souvenir.

Water stations are provided on course and at the start and finish. A post race lunch is provided by The Cambridge Mill for registered participants. Post race massages and complimentary coffee are offered as part of the event services.

Participant parking is not available at Riverbluffs Park; parking is available on George Street and nearby streets. The event states that accommodations are available for specific needs such as accessible parking or support persons. Volunteers are requested and student volunteer hours can be signed.
