Event Details

The Cambridge Crab Run is held in Cambridge, Maryland. It is a traditional event that takes place on a Sunday, coinciding with Mother's Day.

Courses and Events

The event offers multiple running options:

  • A half marathon (13.1 miles).
  • A 5k (3.1 miles).
  • The KING CRAB challenge, which requires participants to complete the half marathon in under two hours to qualify to start the subsequent 5k race.
  • A Kids 5k option for participants aged 12 and under.

The races start and finish at Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh, located at 0 Somerset Avenue. The half marathon course follows the same route as the Eagleman triathlon event held in June. The route passes the Choptank River at the beginning and continues onto country roads in Dorchester County.

Logistics

Packet pickup is planned for on-site only on the morning of the event. For half marathon and KING CRAB participants, it will take place at the first pavilion in Gerry Boyle Park. There is a scheduled awards ceremony. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
