About the race
The Call to Duty Memorial 5K and 10K is an annual memorial run held in Gorham, NH on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event supports the Call To Duty Memorial Scholarship Fund; all proceeds go to perpetual care of the memorial and to provide scholarships for students pursuing public safety careers.
Distances:
- 10K - USATF certified (NH23006BK). Net decline 574 feet.
- 5K - not a certified course at this time.
The 10K starts on Route 16 near the Great Gulf Wilderness Trailhead in Greens Grant/Gorham. The 5K starts at the US Forest Service Ranger Station, 300 Glen Rd, Gorham, NH 03570. Both races finish at the Gorham Common by the Information Booth. Parking is available at the finish; limited parking is available at the start and a shuttle will operate between those areas.
Entry fees after 8/21/2026 are $50 for the 10K and $40 for the 5K. Early bird rates are $40 for the 10K and $30 for the 5K. A $5 discount applies to participants age 17 and under. Full refunds are provided for cancellations before 8/15/2026. T-shirts are included for the first 100 registrants; guarantee of size requires registration prior to 8/15/2026. Each racer receives one free raffle ticket.
Course safety measures include marked routes, volunteers and police or fire personnel along the course, water stations, and medical personnel on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
