About the race
The Calgary Women's Run, held annually at Edworthy Park in Calgary, Alberta, is one of Canada's oldest women's running events. The 47th edition offers 5km and 10km race distances along the scenic Bow River. This volunteer-led event fosters community, health, and athletic excellence, with all proceeds benefiting local charities.
Around 300 women and girls participate, enjoying a supportive atmosphere. Registrants receive a swag bag featuring a Calgary Women's Run CIELE hat and treats from local sponsors like Lakeview Bakery and Village Ice Cream.
