Calgary Police Classic
The Calgary Police Classic, organized by Run Calgary, takes place on September 19, 2026, with start and finish at Cowboys Park in Calgary. The event is described as Calgary's only fall road half marathon and marks its 46th running.
Participants can choose among several distances:
- Half marathon
- 8 km
- Kids race for ages 2 to 12
The half marathon is presented as a fast, flat road course. In addition to the in person event on September 19, a virtual race experience runs from September 20 to October 18, 2026.
The event includes fundraising in support of the Calgary Police Youth Foundation. Current fundraising shows CA$5,923.22 raised toward a CA$20,000 goal, and the event has raised over CA$146,000 for the foundation in the past nine years.
Entry fees include processing fees and are subject to 5% GST added to the listed price. All entry fees are non refundable unless the participant purchased the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection at registration and meets that policy's conditions.
