Calgary Police Classic
The 46th running of the Calgary Police Classic will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Cowboys Park. The event was formerly known as the Calgary Police Half Marathon and is presented as a fall road race in Calgary.
Available distances include:
- Kids Race for ages 2 to 12
- 8 km
- Half Marathon 21.1 km
Participants may take part in person on September 19 or virtually from September 20 to October 18. The half marathon has an age minimum of 14 years; no minimum age is listed for the 8 km. Strollers are permitted on the 8 km and 21.1 km courses.
The race supports the Calgary Police Youth Foundation and has fundraised $146,000 to date. In-person entries receive a long-sleeve technical shirt, a personalized bib if registered before the registration cutoff date, chip timing, a results leaderboard, and awards for top finishers. Aid stations are provided every 3 km for the half marathon and every 4 km for the 8 km.
