Cajun Road Runners Downtown 8K
The Cajun Road Runners Downtown 8K takes place on October 10, 2026 in Lafayette, Louisiana, with start and finish at Parc Sans Souci. The course runs through Downtown Lafayette, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette oak tree-lined campus, and the Oil Center.
Both in-person and virtual participation options are offered. Online registration opens March 9 and closes October 8; in-person registration is available at packet pick-up and on race morning. A without-swag registration option is offered. Pricing tiers are: through July 14 $45, July 15 to August 18 $50, August 19 to October 8 $55, and packet pick-up and race day in-person registration $60. A youth discount of $35 is available for participants age 12 and under; the discount is applied after the birthdate is entered. Club members receive an additional $5 discount; this discount is not valid for the virtual option.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, October 9 at Adopted Dog Brewing, and race day packet pick-up and registration are also available. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group listed: 12 and under, 13–19, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60 plus. Triple Crown registration combining three races is available to qualify for Cajun Road Runners swag; switching to the Triple Crown package should be requested by October 24 to help guarantee swag availability.
