Caithness Half Marathon
The Caithness Half Marathon is a half marathon event held on a scenic, undulating circular course that starts and finishes in Watten. The route runs mainly on quiet country lanes and follows mostly single track roads in the vicinity of Loch Watten. The course is described as undulating rather than flat.
The event is organised by North Highland Harriers and is scheduled for Sunday 30 August 2026. Registration to collect race numbers takes place at Watten Village Hall (KW1 5YL). There are toilets inside the hall and public toilets just outside; there are no shower facilities. Car parking at the hall is limited.
The race start is a short walk from the village hall. Awards include trophies and medals and there will be spot prizes. The event listing notes an age minimum of 17 or older.
