Caithness Half Marathon
The Caithness Half Marathon takes place on 30 August 2026 and is organised by North Highland Harriers. The route is a scenic, undulating circular course that mainly runs on quiet country lanes and mostly single track roads in the vicinity of Loch Watten. The start and finish are in Watten.
Registration to collect race numbers is at Watten Village Hall (KW1 5YL). The village hall has toilets inside and there are public toilets just outside. There are no shower facilities on site. Car parking at the hall is limited.
The event has an age minimum of 17 or older. Entry fees for the listed event included a rate for Scottish Athletics members and a non member rate. Prizes include trophies and medals and there are spot prizes.
Entries for the 2026 race were open between 10 March and 28 August and the entry list indicated the event became full so no further entries could be made. The route layout is circular and primarily rural, passing close to Loch Watten and using country lanes and single track roads. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
