Caithness Half Marathon
The Caithness Half Marathon is a half marathon held on 30 August 2026 on a scenic, undulating circular course that starts and finishes in Watten. The route runs mainly on quiet country lanes and follows mostly single track roads in the vicinity of Loch Watten.
Registration to collect race numbers is based at Watten Village Hall (KW1 5YL). There are toilets inside the hall and public toilets just outside; there are no shower facilities. Car parking at the venue is limited. The race assembly area is a short walk from the village hall.
The event is organised by North Highland Harriers. Entry requirements included a minimum age of 17 on the event date. The organiser provided trophies, medals, and spot prizes for participants. At the time of publication the event is full and no new entries can be made.
Event documentation included a terms and conditions statement and a cancellation and refund policy. The course description highlights rural roads and views around Loch Watten rather than urban sections, and participants should expect an undulating rural route on narrow lanes.
