Cairngorms Ultra

The Cairngorms Ultra Trail is a 60km ultra running event set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland's largest national park known for its stunning highland scenery. Starting and finishing at Mar Lodge near Braemar, the course features 1006m of ascent and traverses remote, rugged terrain including Caledonian pinewoods, mountain passes like Lairig an Laoigh and Lairig Ghru, and offers extensive views of peaks such as Ben Macdui. The route is fully waymarked, requiring no navigation skills, and includes aid stations at Derry Lodge and Linn of Dee.
