Cadillac Festival of Races
The Cadillac Festival of Races takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in Cadillac, Michigan and is presented by the Cadillac Area YMCA. The event includes multiple running distances along routes that use the public roads and trails around Lake Cadillac and staging at the Cadillac Rotary Pavilion and Cadillac Area YMCA.
Distances offered include:
- Full Marathon (Boston Marathon qualifier)
- Half Marathon (Boston Marathon qualifier)
- 10K
- 5K
- 7 Mile Team Relay
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run for ages 8 and under
- 1/4 Mile Lake Swim Race
The 7 Mile Team Relay runs around Lake Cadillac and transportation to and from relay exchange points is provided by WexExpress. Transportation from check-in to the marathon start lines is provided. The event includes live music, food trucks and one house beer or non alcoholic beverage from Clam Lake Beer Co included with most registrations. Awards include top three in age brackets and finisher medals. A 6.5 hour course limit applies to the marathon course.
Packet pickup is available at the Cadillac Area YMCA and at the race site at Cadillac Rotary Pavilion on the days before and on the event date. Proceeds benefit the Cadillac Area YMCA free 7th grade membership program. Registration deadlines and pricing vary by distance and by date.
