Cadillac Festival of Races
The Cadillac Festival of Races is presented by the Cadillac Area YMCA on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with events routed around Lake Cadillac and the Cadillac Rotary Pavilion. The program includes road races, a lake swim race, and a team relay; proceeds support the YMCA free 7th grade membership program.
Distances and event types:
- Full Marathon (Boston Marathon qualifier)
- Half Marathon (Boston Marathon qualifier)
- 10K out and back course
- 5K out and back course
- 7 Mile Team Relay around Lake Cadillac
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run ages 8 and under
- 1/4 Mile Lake Swim Race
Logistics noted by the organizer include transportation for relay exchange points provided by WexExpress and transportation from the event check-in to the full and half marathon start lines. The full and half marathon events observe a 6.5 hour course limit. Packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the event at the Cadillac Area YMCA and on the morning of the event at the race site.
Registration details listed by the organizer:
- Full Marathon registration closes September 2, fee $75.
- Half Marathon registration closes September 2, fee $50.
- 5K, 10K, Relay, and Swim are $25 until August 15; fees increase afterward.
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is free. To guarantee an event t-shirt, registration must be completed by August 15.
Awards include top three age bracket prizes and finisher medals. A single house beer or nonalcoholic beverage from Clam Lake Beer Co is included with registration except for the Kids Fun Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
