Cadillac Festival of Races
The Cadillac Festival of Races takes place in Cadillac on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The event features a full marathon that is a Boston qualifying course, a half marathon, shorter road races, a swim race, and a kids run. The 5K and 10K are out and back courses that begin at the Cadillac Rotary Pavilion and run along Lake Cadillac. A 7 mile team relay circles Lake Cadillac with transportation to and from relay exchange points provided by WexExpress.
Race options include:
- Full Marathon Boston qualifying
- Half Marathon
- 10K out and back starting at Cadillac Rotary Pavilion
- 5K out and back starting at Cadillac Rotary Pavilion
- 7 Mile Team Relay around Lake Cadillac with WexExpress transport
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run ages 8 and under
- 1/4 Mile Lake Swim Race
The festival program also includes live music and food trucks. Registrations have specific deadlines and fees: Full Marathon registration ends 9/2/26 at $75, Half Marathon registration ends 9/2/26 at $50, and several shorter events have reduced rates through August 15. One house beer or non alcoholic beverage from Clam Lake Beer Co. is included with most registrations. Packet pickup takes place at the Cadillac Area YMCA and at the race site on event days. Proceeds support the Cadillac Area YMCA free seventh grade membership program. Age bracket top three awards and finisher medals are given. A 6.5 hour course limit applies for the marathon course.
