Cademuir Rollercoaster
Held on 16 August 2026, this is the 13th running of a pair of short hill races on the open grassy slopes of Cademuir Hill, on the south side of Peebles in the Scottish Borders. The event offers two measured courses with significant climb and age entry rules. Online entry is preferred and there is limited entry available on the day. Race numbers are distributed from Peebles High School Sports Hall.
The races are organised within Scottish Athletics frameworks and will be run under UK Athletics rules. Results from the junior races will be recorded for the relevant Scottish Athletics hill race leagues. Prizes are awarded for senior winners and for specified age categories. The event is sponsored by Cademuir Clinic.
Distances and entry details:
- 3 km : climb 105 m; min age 10 by 31/12/26; SAL U12 and U14 results
- 6 km : climb 275 m; min age 14 by 31/12/26; SAL U16 U18 U20 results
